Apple Barn & Bake Shop

From Labor Day weekend through mid-December you can drop by Rainbow Orchards to enjoy some family fun on the farm. The large picnic area under the apple trees is perfect for an outdoor lunch at our weekend bar-b-que, serving up trip-tip and chicken sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs. The Slate Mountain Bluegrass Band plays on the stage on Sundays while crafters sell their handmade wares under the trees.

For dessert, stop by the bake shop for fresh, piping hot, made-to-order apple cider donuts, or our homemade pies, crisps, cobblers, tarts, and caramel apples.

If that’s not enough, fresh harvested peaches, apples, pears, plum, squash, and pumpkins are available in the apple barn. Or bring home our jams, jellies, applesauce, and syrups made from fruits and berries grown on the farm. The cider mill is in operation producing fresh apple cider to quench your thirst and satisfy your sweet tooth.  And don’t forget to bring home a bottle of  one of our award winning wines!
